Description

Abeille Normandie is a salvage and rescue vessel which currently sails under the flag of France. It was built in 2010, and has a carrying capacity of 4250 t DWT (deadweight tonnage). It measures in at 91 metres in length, and 22 metres in width. Abeilles purchased the ship in 2021.

This terrific model measures in at a length of 91 centimetres, and is complete with highly detailed decking and a colourful paint scheme, highlighting the more delicate features.

  Premier Ship Models did a great job of finding the kit I was after, an Aeronaut Pilot boat. Once found, it shipped quickly, but was held up in customs.
