In 1492, La Pinta made history as one of the three ships used by Christopher Columbus on his first voyage to the West Indies. Alongside La Nina and Santa Maria, this ship holds a special place in the history of exploration.

La Pinta was known as the fastest of the three ships and she was originally built in 1441, before being rebuilt for Columbus and his voyage.
